Getting started

Welcome: your first week as a new client

What to do in what order after your account is created: verification, team, wallet, numbers, channels, a test call and the first week.

Steps

  1. Sign in and secure your login

Use the invitation e-mail to set a password of at least 12 characters, then set up two-step verification: follow Set up two-step verification. Do this first, because everything after it is done under this login.

  2. Complete company verification

Open KYB, fill in your company and directors, upload the documents and choose Submit for review. Until it is approved, calls cannot be placed or received. When approval comes, the page reads Telephony is unlocked. Your provider now sets up your phone system; the phone pages show how far it has got. Setting up the phone system takes a little while: until it is live, the phone pages show the steps and who does each

  3. Add your team

Open Agents and extensions. Under Add an agent enter each person's name and e-mail address and choose Create agent. Hand over the temporary password in person. See Add agents and give them extensions.

  4. Put credit in the wallet

Calls and messages are prepaid. Open Wallet to see what is Available and set the Low-balance threshold. Add credit in the way agreed with us: bank transfer (we credit the wallet when it arrives), Top up with crypto, or Pay by card where it is offered. See Top up the wallet.

  5. Get your numbers

Under Buy numbers choose the numbers you need. Under My numbers set where each one rings and choose Save destination. Numbers we give you in another way are mapped for you. See Buy a number and route it to an agent or a queue.

  6. Check your caller IDs

Open Caller IDs. Outgoing calls show a number only if it is verified and belongs to you; otherwise the call shows no number. Request each number you want to show and give the evidence asked for. See Caller IDs and how a number is verified.

  7. Apply the setup to the phone system

Extensions, queues, numbers and caller IDs reach the phone system only when you apply them. In Apply to phone system choose Check what will change, read the list, then choose Apply now.

  8. Connect your channels

Open Channels for WhatsApp with your own Meta account and for e-mail. For your website, use Getting started and Create the web chat. See Connect WhatsApp with your own Meta account and Set up e-mail and web chat.

  9. Make a test call

Choose Open the phone and wait for Registered. Call your own mobile, then call your number from it, and check that you hear each other. Then choose I have made a test call. Use a headset, and see Make and take calls in the browser.

  10. Watch the first week

Check the status page if something seems wrong. Open Usage to see each call and its charge, and Invoices for receipts and the monthly statement. We will contact you after the first day, the third day and the first week. Write to hello@ringura.com at any time.

Good to know

  • Audio goes directly between your browser and the phone system over UDP ports 10000 to 20000. If you hear nothing, or only one side, ask your IT team to allow outbound UDP on those ports and test without a VPN.
  • This platform is not for emergency calls. Do not rely on it to reach emergency services.
  • You decide whether calls are recorded and what callers are told. The law that applies to you sets the notice and consent you need.
  • Calls to a country work only once your supplier route for that country is enabled. Tell us the countries you will call before you start.
