Link your own Telegram account by QR code
Bring a Telegram account's private chats into the inbox with a QR code: how it differs from a bot, the risks, the prices and the limits.
Steps
Know what this is
This links your own Telegram account to Ringura through Telegram's client API, so agents answer through your login. It is not the Telegram bot channel, which stays as it is and is the supported way to do business on Telegram. It is not provided or approved by Telegram. Telegram may restrict or ban the account at any time, and we cannot prevent or reverse that.
Check the prices
Open Channels and open Link your own Telegram account by QR code. The feature has a plan price per month. Each account has a monthly fee and each message you send has a charge: these depend on the country and are shown as the current price, which can change. A country with no current price cannot be linked. Everything is charged in advance from your wallet, and the page shows your total for the month so far.
Read and accept
Choose the country of the account's phone number, read the terms under Before you link, tick the box and choose Accept and show the QR code. Only an administrator can do this, and it is kept in your audit log.
Scan the code
Open Telegram on your phone, go to Settings, then Devices, then Link Desktop Device, and scan the code. If your account has a two-step password the console asks for it once; it goes to Telegram and is not kept. The month is charged when the login succeeds.
Reply from the inbox
Private one-to-one chats appear in the inbox. Groups, channels, bots and older chats do not. An agent can answer a person once they have written to this account since it was linked. Read ticks appear; Telegram has no delivered receipt here. The limits are the same as for a linked number: at most 20 messages a minute and 500 a day, and you may only lower them. Campaigns, broadcasts, templates, flows and the AI agent cannot use it.
Good to know
- Nothing is refunded if the account is restricted, banned, logged out or disconnected.
- Each account shows Connected while it works. If you end the session from Telegram's Devices list, the status changes to Logged out and your administrators receive an e-mail. Choose Link again.
- Choose Disconnect to end the link: the session ends, its keys are deleted and its fee stops. Your conversations stay in the inbox.
