Read the audit log and the sensitive-access report

See everything recorded in your Ringura account, and who unmasked data, took an export or played a recording.

Last checked For: Administrators

Steps

  1. Open the page

Choose Audit log in the menu. Administrators see it. It opens on General log, with the last 30 days.

  2. Read the general log

Each row shows When, Action, Who and IP address. Where a row has more, Detail opens the fields recorded with it. Each row is permanent: nobody can change or remove it.

  3. Narrow the selection

Set the dates, then choose a person under Who and an action under Action. Choosing a family such as wallet.* takes every action in it. Choose Show older rows to go further back.

  4. Tell who acted

A colleague shows by name and e-mail address. Your provider's staff means someone from outside your account acted in it, and no IP address is shown. System or signed link means nobody was signed in, for example a customer using a signed link.

  5. Open the sensitive report

Choose Sensitive access. It counts Unmasking, Exports and Recording plays for the dates you set, with one row per person and, below that, each access in turn. Narrow it under Kind and Who.

  6. Export the selection

Choose Export CSV on either view. The file holds the current selection, up to 10,000 rows. A longer selection ends with a line saying so: narrow the dates to take the rest. Taking the export is itself recorded.

Good to know

  • Sensitive access lists the newest 500 accesses on the page. The totals and the people table cover the whole selection.
  • An action with no wording of its own shows its technical name, such as login.ok.
