Running the desk
Export your whole account
Take everything your Ringura account holds, with conversations and recordings, at the end of a contract or for your own archive.
Steps
Open the page
Choose Export account. Only an administrator sees it.
Choose what goes
Leave Include recordings and files on for everything. Turn it off for a smaller archive of data only.
Ask for it
Choose Export everything. It builds in the background and you can leave the page. Only one export runs at a time.
Download the parts
When it is Ready, each part has its own link. Large accounts have several parts. A link works for 24 hours and needs no sign-in, so you can pass it to whoever receives the data. Open the page again for a fresh link.
Check what you received
Each part is a .tar.gz file. The last one holds manifest.json, which lists every file with its SHA-256 and anything that could not be read.
Good to know
- The archive is removed 7 days after it is built, and the links stop working then. The record of the export stays.
- Data files hold one JSON object a line. Passwords, keys and other secrets are never included.
- Every request and download is written to the audit log.
- Nothing is transcribed for an export. Transcripts that already exist are included.
